We have an opening post-doctoral position at our lab at CNAM Paris, to work on auditory interaction and multisensory perception to improve the player experience of laser-tag VR games where players are spread over different arcade sit.
Main goal is to determine the role of audio in sense of presence and co-presence of such games, knowing that players can walk a limited physical space to cover a larger virtual world.
Candidates will contribute to all steps of the research from literature review to implementation of study design, data collection, data analysis and manuscripts preparation.
The position is funded for 2 years ( national FUI grant on the UnitedVR project grouping several industrial partners), starting as soon as possible (1 to 2 months delay min = Early Spring 2020).
