Description of the job
A vacancy for a Unity Technical Lead has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Toulouse. You will join the Design Office. The Design Office mission consists in implementing, and managing the design mock-up along with mechanical and thermal simulations of spatial products. Part of this entity, the 3DSpaceLab role is to detect and adapt innovative 3D technologies to the Space industry. The job objective is to push the emergence of new videogames technologies (especially virtual reality), develop industrial solutions and support their use in production.
This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
Tasks & accountabilities
As part of the 3DSpaceLab team, your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

Technical Lead for the development of Dragonfly : the 3D virtual and augmented reality Airbus internal solution,
-
Manage sub-contracted activities regarding Unity real-time developments,
-
Guarantee the liaison between Dragonfly and realistic rendering/computer graphics activities,
-
Link all these technologies to the Airbus Space systems environment, especially the digital mock-up functional database.
This role will involve some travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.
Required skills
You will have the following skills and experience:

Master degree in interactive computer science or equivalent,
-
Skills in Unity real-time development and software architecture,
-
Expertise in real-time development (Unity),
-
Very strong experience Technical solution / software architecture,
-
Structure and manage the development team,
-
Good knowledge of raytracing / computer graphics technologies (Blender),
-
Knowledge of CAD tools (3DExperience, CatiaV5, Delmia),
-
Basic knowledge of the spatial environment and constrains would be appreciated,
-
Very good capability to create change,
-
Motivation, autonomy, good interpersonal skills,
-
Language skills: advanced level of English and negotiation of French.
